Help me to make this season brighter by giving us your used/wearable shoes, coats, sweaters. We have hungry people that are not full covered by the system. With your donation going directly to the poor there is no middleman but also their are no receipt that I can give you at the moment. 

I am working hard to make sure that the people that I am trying help are getting some or better nourishment. We also need help with food (no canned items). Unless it is a pull tab canned item e.g. Vienna Sausages or Sardines, Vegetables, etc, then the homeless prefer not to have it. What we are hoping for is peanut butter, apples, nuts, health bars, protein bar, bar snacks, crackers, cracker snacks (cheese crackers), cookies, water, Gatorade, protein shakes e.g. Ensure. Any survivor packs you think would benefit the homeless, please donate as soon as you possibly can.

Your old soles, coats, and wears (scarfs and gloves) can bring a great deal of joy. Your old tents, blankets and comforters are needed it too. Make room in your closet for 2017 by donating to my cause. I am working hard to get my 501 3c. In the early part of 2017, I hope to have an organization of giving and caring named after my Mom. Please bare with me while under construction.

My event is on 12.15.16 at Zeba Bar 3423 14th Street NW, Washington DC 20010. You can bring your items there or visit the people living in tent communities on 2nd Street NE and K, L, and M. Ask for Rick! He is self appointed leader but he has heart. The bulk of these people live on M. Some of these people do not have tents. The numbers continue to fluctuate depending on the nights.
